The campsite consists of 4 fields totalling 14 acres of level meadow which can accommodate up to 300 tents and motor homes. Two of the fields are for families and couples only, and all are within 200m of the magnificent Rhossili Bay.

- Touring caravans are not allowed
- Hillend does not take advance bookings for the campsite
There is vibrant feel to the site and although we are not a ‘families only’ site we are careful as to whom we let onto the park. Well behaved youngsters are welcome, but we generally only accept under 18’s with parental supervision, and groups numbering more than 10 by prior arrangement.
Our policy in this respect has:

The facilities at Hillend are continually being improved and are, we believe, one of the reasons Hillend was recently listed as one of the top 10 U.K Campsites in both ‘The Times’ and ‘The Observer’.
The proximity of the beach makes it an ideal location for all water sports enthusiasts, in particular, canoeists, windsurfers, anglers and especially surfers.
But Hillend isn’t just about a beach.
“The appeal of this location is more than just a beach, the surf and the Gower landscape. Its more than the sum of its constituent parts. There’s an inexplicable pull about this part of the peninsula that has a deep and lasting effect on visitors.”Cool Camping Guide
Leave the campsite and explore the breathtaking Gower coastline along the peninsula’s comprehensive footpath network. But remember to be back before the sun goes down.
